Ingredients
  1. 4 Racks of Raw Ribs - Any of our baby back (2005/2005A), Spare (2012) or St. Louis Cut (2004) ribs will suit
  2. 200g Oaky Smoky Rub (3757) - For a spicier product try Rump Rub (3756)
  3. 200ml apple juice
  4. 200ml water
  5. 400ml Hickory BBQ Sauce (5101)
Instructions
  1. Rub ribs evenly with Oaky Smoky Rub. Cover and refridgerate for 24 - 48 hours
  2. Pre-heat oven to 250 F/ 120 C/ Gas Mark 1/2. Cover base of oven proof container with silicone paper
  3. Once marinated, place ribs in oven dish. Mix apple juice, water and 200ml of the BBQ sauce together and pour over ribs. Lightly cover with silicone paper and the seal tray with tin foil
  4. Place in middle of oven for 4hrs, turning every hour. After 4 hrs remove foil and paper and ensure that ribs are presentation side up. Return to oven and increase heat to 350 F/ 180 C/ Gas Mark 4, for 30 mins more or until the top starts to caramelise
  5. Once caramelised, remove from container and baste with remainder of BBQ sauce and serve

Serving Suggestions
Why not serve Lamb Weston Sweet Potato Fries (3009) and a generous helping of 'manslaw' regular coleslaw enhanced with diced Jalapeno peppers (4507).
