Slow roasted Cajun & apple ribs

Ingredients

4 racks of baby back ribs
4 table spoons of Cajun King blackened seasoning
8 table spoons of apple juice

Method

Place the baby back ribs into a large container. Place the Cajun seasoning into the container with the ribs as well as the apple juice.
Thoroughly mix all ingredients together, making sure you coat all of the ribs.
Preheat an oven to 150oc.
Place the ribs into a baking tray, leaving the extra apple juice in the container.
Bake for 90 minutes, remove from the oven and add the extra apple juice to the bottom of the pan.
Place the ribs back into the oven and cook for a further 2 ½ hours.
To finish place under a hot grill for 5 minutes to give a great tasting crust to the ribs and ideally serve with home made skin on fries and crunchy red slaw
