mexicana Founded in 1986, La Mexicana quickly built a reputation for providing top quality tortillas to an emerging market. La Mexicana continues to lead the field providing authentic, quality tortillas and wraps to an ever expanding market.  
In 1992, Philip Weldon set up “The English Cheesecake Company”. He began by making an original family cheesecake recipe which went back several generations. With his passion for desserts he took his hobby and made it a career. Today, “The English Cheesecake Company” manufactures those very same trademark Cheesecakes and importantly still retains the original homemade ideals, using only use the finest and freshest ingredients, including huge chunks of chocolate, crunchy honeycomb, cookies and fruits.

This was the beginning of Basic American Foods in the mid-fifties. Basic American Foods established a potato processing plant in Blackfoot, Idaho where the first instant potato product that could be rehydrated with boiling water was developed. This led to a series on innovative potato products for the food service industry that includes Potato Pearls, Shredded Potato and Premium Mashed Potato.
